We’re connected! Introducing our new Etsy and CartKeeper store connectors
We’re excited to announce we have two new store connectors available for our eRetail apps, Etsy and CartKeeper. This is in addition to our current store connectors for Shopify and Magento, plus many more in the works. You could say we’re definitely well connected!
Now that we have the Etsy connector available, I’d like to point out a few features in our Bizelo Centralized Inventory Management (CIM) solution that will be particularly useful for an Etsy shop owner. Most products sold on Etsy are made by hand and usually made to order. Once you’ve connected your shop to Bizelo CIM, you can keep track of your materials. Materials are tracked like any other inventory item, but they will not show up in your stores and their inventory count will be deducted automatically when the assembled product is sold.
To set up an assembled product in Bizelo CIM, all you have to do is enter in each material as a separate inventory item flagged as a “Material”, then add a new inventory item for the assembled product itself using the “Assemblies” tab. When you’re creating the assembled product item, you’ll identify each material item used to make that product and the quantity needed from each. When the product is sold, you can just relax. Bizelo CIM will update all of the materials quantities for you.
Another thing that Etsy shop owners will like is the ability to manage listed item counts automatically. Etsy charges 20 cents per item listed. If you have three of the same item in one listing, you’ll pay 60 cents. Bizelo CIM allows you to manage the quantity available in your store(s) separately from the quantity you have on hand. If you turn on the automation feature, you can keep the quantity available in your shop set at one until the item’s “On Hand” quantity reaches zero.
