How do I setup and sync with my Shopify store?
There are two ways to setup your Shopify store to work with Bizelo:
Method #1: Setup from within Shopify
If you are already a Shopify customer, then one of the easiest ways to add integration with Bizelo IPS is to add the Bizelo IPS app from the Shopify App Marketplace. Here are the steps to make that work:
Step 1: Login to your Shopify store admin
Usually the admin login is at http://.myshopify.com/admin. I’m not sure we need to tell you how to do this. If you are having trouble logging into your Shopify store, please consult with Shopify.
Step 2: Add the Bizelo App from the Shopify App Store
Once you are logged in, go to the Shopify App Store by either visiting http://apps.shopify.com/ or by selecting the Apps pull down in your Shopify Admin and clicking on “Get More Apps.”
Once you’re in the App Store, search for “Bizelo” and make sure to select the “Inventory, Pick & Pack, and Ship” application. It should look something like this:
Click on the above link, and you’ll be taken to the Bizelo IPS landing page:
Click the “Install” button. You will then be taken to a page to authorize your connection with Bizelo that will look like this:
You will then get to the Bizelo IPS landing page where you can choose a payment plan. Choose whichever option best matches your anticipated needs for Bizelo IPS.
After you select your plan, you will be taken to a page where you can enter your payment information. Your username and password will be emailed to you. A temporary password will be set up for you, and the email address configured for your Shopify account will be your Bizelo Username. Once you click on the confirmation link in the email mailed to you, you will automatically be logged into the Bizelo IPS system and taken to the sync screen as shown in the Method #2 step below. Continue from there!
Method #2: Setup from within Bizelo IPS
Alternatively, if you already have a Bizelo IPS account setup and you want to add a Shopify store (perhaps another Shopify store), you can do so directly through the Bizelo interface.
Step 1: Go to your Store Settings and edit or add a new store
Click on the “Settings” tab then choose “Stores” from the options on the right side. You can then either add a new store (following the directions given in another FAQ) or you can edit a current store. If you add a new store, you’ll have to add the store first, and then click on “Settings” for the store when you mouse over that store’s name.
Step 2: Enable e-Commerce for that store and enter your Shopify store URL
In the Store Settings, select Enable E-commerce Integration for the store, and then select the Shopify store radio setting. Then, just enter the name of your Shopify store. There’s no need to enter the whole URL. If your shopify store is “http://mystore.myshopify.com”, you can just enter “mystore”. Below is an example for a Shopify store.
Step 3: Authenticate the Bizelo installation for your Store
After your click Save Settings, you will get an Authentication Screen like the below:
Step 4: Sync with your Shopify Store
Once you click Install, you will then be brought back to the Bizelo IPS app and you will see a Sync screen like the below.
Click on the “Import the Items and Setup my Shopify Store” button and you’re done!
